Advanced Pro-class

Week 1

This was my FIRST ever "session" ! Usually i would just take photos of my kids without having an idea of what i would like to have photos of. This week assignment was a challenge :) I did a shot list but none of my photos look the same as the ones that i wanted to recreate (and i think it is great).Actually my daughter was the one who came up with some cute poses! Enjoy!

Week 2. Pose and its variations.

This week`s assignment was actually inspired by on the photos from my childhood...Its a photo of me posing with a big red blow up phone...I really like the simplicity of the image, the colors (probably they faded for the past 20+ years) and story (i look a little bit sad on the photo-probably i was told that somebody would answer the phone on the other end and it never happened???). I took that image as a starting point, googled some ideas...I did edit the images to give them the vintage look (i am not friends with Photoshop but i did my best).

You may ask why my daughter looks sad? That day we were trying to call my mom and she was not at home so Ksenia was a little bit upset as she had bunch od things to share with grandma...When i was taking those photos i asked my daughter to think about how she felt when grandma did not answer the phone..

I do see some things that i should have done differently...(like shadows )but that is how we learn!

Week 3 Communication

Theme "Oh, those siblings" I REALLY wanted to take photos of both my kids as my son does not like to be in front of the camera.I could not make him wear any clothes but at least i got him listen to me while we were playing games, answering silly questions, telling secrets!

Theme "Fun under the blanket"

Week 4 Inspiration

It was the hardest assignment for me. When i am given instructions of what to do and what to take pictures of-not a big deal but with inspiration theme it is not that easy...

Brooke, i was really inspired by one of your blog posts " I can agive you a star" , so i did couple sessions-the idea was to be able to find a star wherever we went or whatever we did.I wanted to show my kids that there is something constant in this world as stars and my love to them

I do not have too many pictures of my son -he does not like the camera. As soon as he sees it-he runs away...Bu there are 3 things that he loves : Lego blocks, his Toy story pillow and  TRAINS! He can play with them for hours and i like to sit and watch him do that. That is our everyday life-READY!SET!GO. Thomas!
I took pictures at kids cafe (my sons favourite place )-the background maybe a little bit busy but it still adds to atmosphere!
